Access Control:
There are many types of devices you can use in an access control situation.
An authorised access may be granted by the use of a PIN entry, an access card or biometric readers (fingerprint / eye recognition).
Devices such as electric locks and card readers are often very effective, but some situations require a higher level of sophistication.
We often include the following features in our access control solutions:
- Touchscreen terminals for intuitive light control, building and security automation
- Keypad control for lighting and gates

Remote Access Control:
There are many convenient connection methods to control your security systems, access control and building automation features.
- Computer software connection via dial up telephone line or internet
- SMS control and feedback from your system
- You can also have basic telephone "Touch tone" control and feedback from your system.

Access Control Devices
We have also provided many solutions for applications using access control devices such as, but not limited to:
Proximity Card Readers:
Proximity card readers are able to read an ID code without the need to swipe a proximity card. Typically, the range of a proximity card reader is between 0 and 8 cm, so the card does not need to be taken out of the person's wallet.
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor access control (proximity card readers can be fitted to gate)
- "Proximity card" is a generic name for contactless integrated circuit devices
Biometric Readers:
Biometric readers recognise a person who has authorised access by verifying a physical characteristic which is unique to that person. Common physical characteristics used in biometrics are retina and fingerprint recognition: Just as a fingerprint is unique to an individual, so is his/her retina, so biometric readers provide a reliable confirmation that a users are who they claim to be.
- Can be used in conjunction with card readers
- Can be installed as stand alone units or as part of an access control system
Electronic (Electric) Locks for Doors and Cabinets:
Electronic locks can be installed as stand alone locks or connected to an access control system.
Industrial and commercial building are usually fitted with high security single or double action steel bolt (deadlock).
- Can be fitted to use anumerical keypad, access cards and / or keys
- When a keyed electric lock is connected to an access control system, keys can be added or removed without having to re-key the cylinder, and access activity can be logged
- Unlike traditional locks, electronic locks can be configured to suit changing needs
Electromagnetic Locks:
A battery pack can be incorporated in the installation of stand alone electromagnetic locks (short term power failure), as they require a constant power source.
- Extremely low energy consumption
- Easier to install than conventional locks as electromagnetic locks have no interconnecting parts
- Suitable for high traffic applications, two modes of operation:
• Fail-safe for human safety: Power shutdown releases the lock
• Fail-secure for property safety: Power shutdown does not release the lock
Electric Bolt Action / Drop Down Locks:
High security, bolt is deadlocked in the extended position.Strike plate and face plate are made of stainless steel. Electric bolt action and drop down locks are tamper proof since it is not possible to insert a metal object between the strike plate and the lock.
- Key or cylinder override in case of a power outage
- Can operate in horizontal and vertical positions
- Door position and bolt position monitoring, unlock delay, automatic relock
- Can be configured to suit your application
Automatic Gate Systems: Electric Vehicle Gate and Electric Boom Gate Control Interface:
Sliding gate systems are better suited for commercial applications, but they can also be installed where a swinging gate would encroach on available parking space. Swinging gate systems are traditionally chosen for domestic applications.
- Both sliding and swinging mechanisms can be fitted to timber or metal gates
- Access control by proximity cards, key pads, remote controls and intercom
- Gates automation can be customised to suit your needs
